Birdseye Maple - 'E'
Beautiful hardwood, of light color.
Finger-holes are all 1-1/8" apart for ease of playing.

Tiger Lyptus - 'G#' & 'F#'
Lytus is a very unique wood.
Flutes made of Lyptus are not often found.
This flute is unique in that not only is it not a common
wood for flutes, but this one also has tiger stripes.
The two dark woods used in the Fetish-block are a
great contrast for this redish colored flute.

Black Walnut - 'D'
Walnut is a solid, warm wood and is great to make a flute out of.
This one has some interesting black streaks in it.
This turquoise band contrasts nicely with the dark wood.
It seems to 'jump' out of the wood.
The Fetish-block is made of Lacewood and Tigerwood.

Cactus Poplar - 'E'
How cool is this....a flute made of Poplar, yet it looks like
it was made out of a desert agave cactus stalk.
Here is a close up of that desert agave cactus effect.
And then of course, it is topped with the Signature kokolina Fetish-block.

Maple
Every once in a while, I get a flute with a surprise in wood coloration. This MAPLE flute has that. Notice the 'opal' effect on the end of the flute!

This was my rattlesnake flute!
This flute had a LEOPARDWOOD top that looks like scales
and a CHERRYWOOD bottom with lots
of grain giving the appearance of
theViper's typical underbellie.
Then to balance out the tough look of the rattlesnake flute,
I topped the flute off with a cute little
Kokolina Fetish-block.
